On the Gello village square, between Sàrperi and the Acque, a single-level house with a terrace shaded by an old olive tree and a living room built around a monumental fireplace.
— Il Simoncini Alto
Located between Sàrperi and Casa delle Acque, and characterised by a small terrace enclosed between two low walls — perfect for sitting in the shade of an old olive tree — Il Simoncini Alto is the third house overlooking the Gello village square.
Inside, all rooms are arranged on a single level, separated by just one step. From the terrace you enter the living room, which stretches across the full width of the house: a large masonry fireplace — once equipped with built-in stoves used for cooking — anchors the space, with a comfortable sofa and two armchairs gathered before it.
Through the living room you reach a kitchen of the same generous proportions, finished with a worktop in Carrara marble, and a dining table that comfortably seats up to eight.
"A hallway leads to the private wing: two bedrooms, each with its own character — a curved iron double bed overlooking the olive grove, and a single room with a private bathroom fitted with a tub."
